All of our horses receive individual attention from the farrier five times a year ( May, July, September, November and February). We let the foals watch their mares get their hooves trimmed and then they respond well with the farrier.
Our horses are turned out daily into grassy pasture, therefore, we don`t shoe them. Their hooves are inspected and cleaned routinely.
We trim the manes and tails of our horses twice a year in the spring and in summer.
