GGS Rick O Shay

We currently have one stud - GGS Rick O Shay (APHA) - standing at Golden Gait Stables. His sire is Flying Storm Kite (APHA), a two time Grand Champion Halter, and Register Of Merit for Heading. Rick has demonstrated a propensity to court the mares. He surprised us by showing interest in the ladies as a yearling. Rick was introduced to the herd as a yearling and received his lessons in manners from the older mares. Now that he has matured, the older mares are comfortable with him as the leader of the herd. He lounges well and will be an excellent mount. Rick came to us in November 2000 when he was just seven months old.
