He made Philadelphia his home and later become a jockey at Penn National and Philadelphia Park. The year of his apprenticeship he finished rank as the 4th leading apprentice in the nation. Eberd has continue to ride in the Philadelphia circuit, but a recent call from Dante Jr. has urge him to join Dante’s team as his assistant trainer. The experience and knowledge that Eberd brings to the team will be of great importance for the team’s success.
