The success of Authentic, a showjumper ridden by Beezie Madden :- Authentic, a Dutch Warmblood gelding sired by the selle francais stallion Guidam. Authentic is one of the most successful showjumpers in the history of the sport. He was born on June 22, 1995, and competed in showjumping with his rider, Beezie Madden. John and Beezie Madden purchased Authentic when he was just six years old, and he showed great potential as a young horse. Under the careful training and guidance of the Maddens, Authentic quickly became a top competitor in the sport.
Authentic`s list of major wins and achievements is impressive. He won three Olympic medals and two World Equestrian Games medals, demonstrating his incredible talent and versatility in the sport. In 2004, Authentic and Beezie Madden won the Olympic show-jumping team gold medal with Team USA. They also won the Grand Prix of Aachen in 2007, becoming the first American rider to do so.
