Atlantus Z
Sire Athlet Z (Almé Z x Gotthard) was bred at Zangersheide in 1979 and was sold as a colt to the legendary stallion rearer Maas Joh. Hell. There Athlet Z developed into a producer of many international showjumping horses, such as Adelfos (Markus Fuchs), Almox Athletico (Ludger Beerbaum), Valeska (Michael Rüping), Sprehe Avion (Ludger Beerbaum) etc. Dam Leonore is a Holstein mare from the successful combination of Sacramento Song xx x Wahnfried, which guarantees its jumping genes. This lineage, in Holstein registered under lineage number 8750, goes back to the famous mare Ricke (Nestroy). That this is a family that passes on its performance blood is demonstrated by the international eventer Rozana (Rapallo x Leonore) with Herbert Blöcker the reserve combination for the `92 Barcelona Olympics, and by the jumper Calei Joter (Calandus x Lord x Leonore) from André Johannpeter who earned bronze for the Brazilian team at the `96 Atlanta Olympics. Regrettably, the sport career of Atlantus Z terminated prematurely due to an injury that since prevents the stallion to jump an entire course. But he can still excellently demonstrate his extreme power and ability over a couple of fences. The offspring of Atlantus Z are still young, but promising, such as the licensed stallion Atom Z and the very talented exponent of the Zangersheide jumping stables, Abeltus Z.
