Trail Safety
Have a safe and comfortable trail ride.
The rain forest climate brings varying weather at all times of the year. Please come prepared with raincoat, gloves, hat, extra sweater. We ride in most weather conditions.
For your riding comfort wear long pants. This helps to prevent chaffing. Cycling shorts under your pants are a real asset. All riders should wear appropriate footwear, preferably a boot with low heel or sturdy runners.
Absolutely no open toed footwear allowed. You will not be allowed to ride – regulations.
We do offer a limited selection of helmets. **** All riders must wear a helmet – no helmet no riding no exceptions. You can bring a personal sport helmet (cycling helmets are suitable) or you can try one of ours. Can’t guarantee a good fit for everyone.
Other essentials could include bug spray, sun lotion and sun glasses depending on the season and trail ride. Bring your cameras for some great pictures. No backpacks.
All rides commence in the park. Your horse will be tacked up and ready to go so follow the simple advice above and have a memorable ride.
